How to reach Kalpa?

By Air

Shimla Airport is nearest to Kalpa but has low connectivity to major cities. Kalpa is approximately 220 km from Shimla and you can cover the distance by taxi or car. The best option would be to opt for a flight to Chandigarh Airport and then take a bus or taxi to reach Kalpa.

By Rail

The closest broad gauge railway station is in Chandigarh and Kalka. You can travel to either of the stations and then take on a road journey by bus or taxi to Kalpa.

By Road

Several bus services are available at Chandigarh and Shimla that will take you to Reckong Peo which is 3km from Kalpa. You can cover this distance by taking a local bus or by booking a taxi from the bus stand. If you are looking for a more private experience, private taxis are also available at Shimla that will take you directly to Kalpa, or you can get a self-drive car rental at Delhi or Chandigarh.
