Overview
Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse, which dates to the early 1700s.

Itinerary
Upon arrival at NJP Railway station or Bagdogra Airport Siliguri you will be transferred to Gangtok, which is known for its strategic location,a strong Buddhist presence and many cultural offerings that make the First City of Sikkim - Gangtok, a tempting insight into this stimulating land. Mt. Khangchendzonga, Orchid Nurseries, Great Shopping. As you reach Gangtok check in at hotel and get some rest. The remaining part of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After Breakfast start for your excursion to the oval shaped Tsomgo Lake/ Changu Lake (40 kms from Gangtok departure in the morning) - situated at height of 3,753 mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and home to the Brahminy duck and several migratory birds.Travel to Baba Mandir at the height of 13,500 feet another 17 km beyond Tsomgo lake.Return to Gangtok for overnight stay at Gangtok Hotel…......Optional tour is, Nathula PASS the Indo-China border (subject to availability of special permit for Indian tourist only with extra cost approx Rs 4000/- apart from the given Total Quoted Package Price, to be paid on spot after getting the permission and amount can vary time to time and number of travelers, depending on the present situation and rush. Nathula closed on Monday & Tuesday.
Post breakafast, drive to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft & 117 km). En-route the hilly roads, lush green mountains and bubbling brooks will greet you. Further, we will halt for some time at Singhik View Point (subject to weather condition). It is 55 km from Gangtok and 04 km further of Mangan. The view point offers breathtaking vistas of Khangchendzonga and Siniolchu. From here you can admire the beauty of the lush green hills with the beautiful sound of the Teesta River flowing below it. We will also visit the Seven Sisters Waterfalls & Naga Waterfalls. Transfer to a hotel on reaching Lachung. Acclimatize to the weather, followed by an overnight stay. Hotel: The Hidden Valley
Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley, an alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic landscape and hot Spring (depend on time of visit), drive further of you want to visit to Yumesamdong (4725m / 15503ft) or Zero Point close to Tibet Border, one of the highest motorable roads in Sikkim. The valley is covered with snow during January to March & with rhododendrons during April & May. Lunch at hotel in Lachung. After having breakfast, move towards Pelling via Ravangla, Ravangla is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Sikkim. At an altitude of 7000 ft, located on a ridge between Maenam and Tendong Hill, Ravangla offers unmatched views of the Greater Himalayas. The beauty of its landscape and its location as a transit point to nearby destinations has made Ravangla a must-visit place. Later, will visit Namchi is a major tourist spot and pilgrimage centre. We will visit chardham, Siddhesvara Dham is a unique pilgrimage tourism venture of the Sikkim Government developed as “Pilgrim cum Cultural Centre” having a 87 ft statue of Lord Shiva and replicas of four Dhams of the country at one place at Solophok hilltop in Namchi. After completing the sightseeing transfer and overnight stay at Hotel."
Early morning, treat yourself to the beautiful view of mountains. In the first half of the day, Darap village, Pemayangtse Monastery (one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim), Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, Rabdentse Ruins, Rimbi Rock Garden, Skywalk and New Helipad Ground. After Breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. If you reach Darjeeling in the afternoon, then after checking in to your hotel and freshening up, come up to Chowrasta Mall, sit on a peripheral bench for a while, relax & enjoy the ambience and watch the activities. Then take a stroll along the scenic Mall Road (Bhanu Sarani) and complete a circle. If you reach in the morning half or early afternoon, you will have time to walk up the Observatory Hill behind the Mall and go to the famous Mahakal Temple on top and enjoy the views & sunset. As you reach the hotel, check in and get some rest. The remaining part of the day is all at leisure Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

- For Holiday Packages: Once receiving your Advance Payment as per payment policy, we will issue the Confirmation Vouchers within 72 Working hours subject to confirmations received from Suppliers. Balance Amount Payable as per Payment Policy.
- For Cab & Driver Details: All Cab & Driver details will be shared with guests prior to one day before the departure date.
- Air Tickets: Air Tickets will be sent in the Mail immediately once Payment received as per payment policy.
For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions: Payment needs to be made in the comapny name ie DiscoverMyTravel You can do by using net-banking in our current accounts . Any Payment made in personal account of anyone cant be entertained .
Flight price & timings are subject to availability due to dynamic fluctuation. We don’t have any pre-booked Hotels, Flights, Or any other services, so all components are subject to availability at the time of booking.

- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to departure.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 80% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, Travel Insurance, Visa charges, etc.
Regular Cancelation Policy :
21 days or more before Departure Date 30% of package cost 70 % will be refundable
15 days or more before Departure Date 50% of package cost 50 % will be refundable
10 days or more before Departure Date 80% of package Cost 20% will be refundable
7 days or more before Departure Date 100% of package Cost
*Special Note: At any point of time after Booking, if cancelation made on Non- Refundable components like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services, then the respective amount will be completely non-refundable or will be followed as per Components (like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services) Individual Cancelation Policy.
Covid Special Cancelation Policy: If the tour is postponed before travel due to Pandemic Situations (i.e Covid-19), We will issue Credit Notes to guests which he/she may use for future travel for the same destinations .
- For Postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to inform us at 7 days prior to Departure Date. Any request made within 7 days no amendments possible and Cancelation charges occur as per cancelation policy .
- The package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability & Cancelations of respective Components Booked)
- We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.
- We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.
- No Changes/ modifications are allowed during the trip except extreme conditions, which will be also done as per the cancelation policy of respective Components Booked.
- Refunds if any, for variation/modification/amendments/alteration and/or cancellations, etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by ‘A/C payee cheque only’, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per Reserve Bank of India Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency.
- Refund payments will be processed within 15 working days of the cancellation date and the amount is payable as per cancellation policy.
- No refund will be Applicable -For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to any reason.
- No cash refund will be Applicable – If the tour is indefinitely postponed / Stopped during travel due to a natural calamity, riots, political disturbances, or any other unforeseen calamities. We will issue Credit Notes to guest which he/she may use in future travel however subject to cancelation/Refund policy of Respective components booked.
- In case of any Visa denial or any delay in the Visa process, we shall not be responsible for any loss due to the same and no refund will be applicable. Visa approval and process duration is as per consulate/embassy discretion only.
- Packages rates are calculated as per the hotels & rooms mentioned. In case room type is not mentioned, calculation is based on the base category room in the hotel.
- Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and on availability of hotels mentioned.
- In case of non-availability of rooms in the specified hotels, we will inform you the same and will give you different options of hotels and rate will increase or decrease depends on the hotel selection.
- Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system. We suggest you to check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before confirming the package. After Check-in & after booking changes are not possible.
- DiscoverMyTravel does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in Kerala houseboat is included) and personal expenses. During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern.
- Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
- Gala dinner on Christmas 24th,31st/New year eve will be at actual cost.
- On Arrival Day Breakfast is not included in the package.
- Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing,destinations due to political strike or roadblocks. Missing meal due to early checkout or late check-in
- Rooms at all Hill stations (Rooms at Munnar, Thekkady, Kodaikanal and Ooty,Coorg,Himachal uttrakhand,Kashmir) are Non A/C as mentioned. If you require A/C, you can pay extra directly at hotels and upgrade, but depends on availability. If Heater required in Hotels that will be on Direct Expanse .
- All Personal Activities & Entry tickets are not included in the package
- Hotel check-in time is typically at 2:00 PM, while check-out time is at 12:00 PM noon . May vary from hotels to hotels .Early check-in & late checkout as per hotel availability & might be on extra charges .
- The package price does not include – Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees, room heater charges, etc.
- In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangements for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard.
