Overview
Kerala, called Keralam in Malayalam, is a state on the Malabar Coast of India. It was formed on 1 November 1956, following the passage of the States Re Organisation Act, by combining Malayalam-speaking regions of the erstwhile regions of Cochin, Malabar, South Canara, and Travancore .

Itinerary
Arrive at Cochin Airport by 9 P.M. and receive assistance and transfer to Cochin hotel later check in to the Hotel. Over night stay at Cochin.
Today Morning after breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvellous waterfalls, high mountains ,Spice Plantation Villages, with the low flying clouds passing by. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel.
After morning breakfast start for full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Here visit to Mattupaty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Tea Plantation and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy and relax near the tea gardens and appreciated the beauty of nature as you share romantic talks. Later return back on time to the hotel and enjoy the stimulating hot tea sitting outside in the garden. Overnight stay at Munnar
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival there, check into the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady, which is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks (on direct Payment Basis).After that, you can either shop in the local market or opt for an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to the hotel in the evening; a comfortable overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. On reaching Alleppey, you will be transferred to your houseboat. Check in and relax for a while, before the houseboat takes you on a short ride across the beautiful backwaters of Kerala . Enjoy a locally sourced and deliciously cooked Lunch ,Dinner on the boat, .On this you will enjoy beautiful villages, paddy fields, small churches, temples and witness the day-to-day life of the villagers. Over night stay at Alleppey Houseboat.
Morning get up early to enjoy sunrise of backwater , also you will get a chance to see fishermen catching fish of boat men selling household items in their small canoe , After breakfast the boat will move again for a morning cruise, you will check out from the houseboat at 0900 hrs and proceed to Kovalam beach. The journey is through costal areas of Kerala, you can see , view of lagoons rivers, evergreen coconut palms make this journey very enjoyable , Reach Kovalam and check in at your hotel It is one of the beast beaches of India with its lovely slice beach sand and perfectly positioned palms. Today Morning After breakfast, Proceed to Poovar Island , Napier Museum, Padmaswamy, temple, Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. Overnight stay at the hotel .
Morning after breakfast proceed to kanyakumari. on arrival check in to the hotel and later Here visit to the famous Vivekanand Rock Memorial & Kanyakumari Temple. Enjoy an ever memorable SUNSET from there as it’s the point where Arabian Sea, Indian Sea and Bay of Bengal are joining together over night stay at Kanyakumari .
After Breakfast procced to Rameswaram. After arriving in Rameswaram, pay a visit to Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple and the iconic Pamban Bridge, which is India’s first sea bridge. Take a tour of Dhanushkodi town to explore the beach and Dravidian temples. In the evening, visit 24 Kundalas and Ramanathaswamy Temple – one of India’s 12 Jyotirlinga temples. Check into the hotel to spend the night in Rameswaram.
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Madurai Visit the Goddess at Sri Meenakshi Temple or Meenakshi Amman. Admire the beautiful rock-cut architecture of Thiruparankundram and offer prayer to Lord Murugan in this 6th-century temple. Continue your sightseeing tour to Kallazhagar Temple in Alagar Koyil village, Koodal Azhagar Temple, and Pazhamudircholai Temple. Spend the evening at leisure before returning to the hotel for overnight stay at Madurai.
Check-in to Kodaikanal hotel and after fresh up, If time permits proceed below to Kodaikanal Sightseeing Places:Kodaikanal Lake , Coakers Walk , Telescope House , Bear Shola Falls , Shopping , Overnight stay at Kodaikanal Hotel.
After breakfast checkout and proceed to Ooty, En-route visit Bandipur National Forest & Madumali Forest. On arrival check in to hotel. Later Visit Rose Garden, Ooty Lake and Botanical Garden.
After breakfast, Checkout from the hotel, transfer to the Bangalore airport for your onward journey to home.

Policy
- For Holiday Packages: Once receiving your Advance Payment as per payment policy, we will issue the Confirmation Vouchers within 72 Working hours subject to confirmations received from Suppliers. Balance Amount Payable as per Payment Policy.
- For Cab & Driver Details: All Cab & Driver details will be shared with guests prior to one day before the departure date.
- Air Tickets: Air Tickets will be sent in the Mail immediately once Payment received as per payment policy.
For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions: Payment needs to be made in the comapny name ie DiscoverMyTravel You can do by using net-banking in our current accounts . Any Payment made in personal account of anyone cant be entertained .
Flight price & timings are subject to availability due to dynamic fluctuation. We don’t have any pre-booked Hotels, Flights, Or any other services, so all components are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- 30% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to departure.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 80% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, Travel Insurance, Visa charges, etc.
Regular Cancelation Policy :
21 days or more before Departure Date 30% of package cost 70 % will be refundable
15 days or more before Departure Date 50% of package cost 50 % will be refundable
10 days or more before Departure Date 80% of package Cost 20% will be refundable
7 days or more before Departure Date 100% of package Cost
*Special Note: At any point of time after Booking, if cancelation made on Non- Refundable components like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services, then the respective amount will be completely non-refundable or will be followed as per Components (like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services) Individual Cancelation Policy.
Covid Special Cancelation Policy: If the tour is postponed before travel due to Pandemic Situations (i.e Covid-19), We will issue Credit Notes to guests which he/she may use for future travel for the same destinations .
- For Postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to inform us at 7 days prior to Departure Date. Any request made within 7 days no amendments possible and Cancelation charges occur as per cancelation policy .
- The package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability & Cancelations of respective Components Booked)
- We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.
- We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.
- No Changes/ modifications are allowed during the trip except extreme conditions, which will be also done as per the cancelation policy of respective Components Booked.
- Refunds if any, for variation/modification/amendments/alteration and/or cancellations, etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by ‘A/C payee cheque only’, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per Reserve Bank of India Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency.
- Refund payments will be processed within 15 working days of the cancellation date and the amount is payable as per cancellation policy.
- No refund will be Applicable -For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to any reason.
- No cash refund will be Applicable – If the tour is indefinitely postponed / Stopped during travel due to a natural calamity, riots, political disturbances, or any other unforeseen calamities. We will issue Credit Notes to guest which he/she may use in future travel however subject to cancelation/Refund policy of Respective components booked.
- In case of any Visa denial or any delay in the Visa process, we shall not be responsible for any loss due to the same and no refund will be applicable. Visa approval and process duration is as per consulate/embassy discretion only.
- Packages rates are calculated as per the hotels & rooms mentioned. In case room type is not mentioned, calculation is based on the base category room in the hotel.
- Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and on availability of hotels mentioned.
- In case of non-availability of rooms in the specified hotels, we will inform you the same and will give you different options of hotels and rate will increase or decrease depends on the hotel selection.
- Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system. We suggest you to check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before confirming the package. After Check-in & after booking changes are not possible.
- DiscoverMyTravel does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in Kerala houseboat is included) and personal expenses. During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern.
- Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
- Gala dinner on Christmas 24th,31st/New year eve will be at actual cost.
- On Arrival Day Breakfast is not included in the package.
- Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing,destinations due to political strike or roadblocks. Missing meal due to early checkout or late check-in
- Rooms at all Hill stations (Rooms at Munnar, Thekkady, Kodaikanal and Ooty,Coorg,Himachal uttrakhand,Kashmir) are Non A/C as mentioned. If you require A/C, you can pay extra directly at hotels and upgrade, but depends on availability. If Heater required in Hotels that will be on Direct Expanse .
- All Personal Activities & Entry tickets are not included in the package
- Hotel check-in time is typically at 2:00 PM, while check-out time is at 12:00 PM noon . May vary from hotels to hotels .Early check-in & late checkout as per hotel availability & might be on extra charges .
- The package price does not include – Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees, room heater charges, etc.
- In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangements for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard.
