Itinerary
On Arrival at Guruvayur meet our executive and then visti the Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple, one of the most thronged temples in India. The whole place has a magical ambience. You can also visit the Punnathurkotta Elephant Palace, where the elephants that provide their service at the Guruvayur Temple are taken care of. In the Vallabhattakalari, you can watch the famous martial art from Kerala, Kalaripayattu, live in action. Overnight stay at Guruvayur Hotel.
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival there, check into the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady, which is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks (on direct Payment Basis).After that, you can either shop in the local market or opt for an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to the hotel in the evening; a comfortable overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Allepey Arrive at Alleppey for the thrilling experience on the backwaters of Kerala. On this leisurely cruise you will enjoy beautiful villages, paddy fields, small churches, temples and witness the day-to-day life of the villagers. Overnight in the Houseboat .
Morning get up early to enjoy sunrise of backwater , also you will get a chance to see fishermen catching fish of boat men selling household items in their small canoe , After breakfast the boat will move again for a morning cruise, you will check out from the houseboat at 0900 hrs and proceed to Kovalam beach. The journey is through costal areas of Kerala, you can see , view of lagoons rivers, evergreen coconut palms make this journey very enjoyable , Reach Kovalam and check in at your hotel It is one of the beast beaches of India with its lovely slice beach sand and perfectly positioned palms. The Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple is one of the most revered temples dedicated to Lord Krishna. It's believed to be over 5,000 years old and holds immense spiritual importance, attracting devotees from across the globe.
Yes, there's a strict dress code for both men and women. Men are expected to wear mundu (dhoti) without a shirt while women are required to wear traditional attire like sarees or salwar suits. Also, photography is restricted inside the temple.
