Overview
Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat, Sonitpur, Biswanath and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India. KNP has 5 ranges. The park, which hosts two-thirds of the world's Indian rhinoceroses, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to a March 2018 census conducted jointly by the Forest Department of the Government of Assam and some recognized wildlife NGOs, the rhino population in Kaziranga National Park is 2,613. It comprises 1,641 adult rhinos and 385 calves.

Itinerary
Welcome to Guwahati - the Gateway of Northeast. Pick up from Guwahati Airport at 06:00 Hrs morning, then move towards Kaziranga National Park Via Kakochang Water Falls. Explore the local tea estate at Kaziranga and Orchid Garden. Evening checks in at hotel for overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Early morning (5:00 am) explore Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. Then explore the eastern range on a Jeep Safari where you will see Hog Deers, Sambhars and One horn Rhinos feeding in the plentiful. Post activity stay at Kaziranga.
This morning checked out from Kaziranga hotel and moved towards Shillong. Explore Shillong local which includes Borapani Umiam Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park and Cathedral of Mary’s Help of Christians. Evening spends sometime in the shillong local market. Then check in at Shillong hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong.
Morning starts your journey towards Cherrapunjee, the heaviest rainfall destination in the world. On the way there comes Mawkdok Valley where we will stop to explore Mawsmai Cave. Further drive to visit Nohkalikai Falls, world’s fourth tallest waterfalls. Later I visit Eco Park and Seven Sisters Falls. Post activity back to Shillong for overnight stay in Shillong.
Post breakfast in the morning visit Mawphlang, a village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. It is the site of one of the Khasi Hills sacred groves. Also visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. Further move towards Guwahati for overnight stay.
Morning, check out from hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport for onward journey with wonderful memories of tour.

Policy
- For Holiday Packages: Once receiving your Advance Payment as per payment policy, we will issue the Confirmation Vouchers within 72 Working hours subject to confirmations received from Suppliers. Balance Amount Payable as per Payment Policy.
- For Cab & Driver Details: All Cab & Driver details will be shared with guests prior to one day before the departure date.
- Air Tickets: Air Tickets will be sent in the Mail immediately once Payment received as per payment policy.
For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions: Payment needs to be made in the comapny name ie DiscoverMyTravel You can do by using net-banking in our current accounts . Any Payment made in personal account of anyone cant be entertained .
Flight price & timings are subject to availability due to dynamic fluctuation. We don’t have any pre-booked Hotels, Flights, Or any other services, so all components are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- 30% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to departure.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 80% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, Travel Insurance, Visa charges, etc.
Regular Cancelation Policy :
21 days or more before Departure Date 30% of package cost 70 % will be refundable
15 days or more before Departure Date 50% of package cost 50 % will be refundable
10 days or more before Departure Date 80% of package Cost 20% will be refundable
7 days or more before Departure Date 100% of package Cost
*Special Note: At any point of time after Booking, if cancelation made on Non- Refundable components like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services, then the respective amount will be completely non-refundable or will be followed as per Components (like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services) Individual Cancelation Policy.
Covid Special Cancelation Policy: If the tour is postponed before travel due to Pandemic Situations (i.e Covid-19), We will issue Credit Notes to guests which he/she may use for future travel for the same destinations .
- Packages rates are calculated as per the hotels & rooms mentioned. In case room type is not mentioned, calculation is based on the base category room in the hotel.
- Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and on availability of hotels mentioned.
- In case of non-availability of rooms in the specified hotels, we will inform you the same and will give you different options of hotels and rate will increase or decrease depends on the hotel selection.
- Hotels for each category are selected as per the budget and through our feedback system. We suggest you to check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before confirming the package. After Check-in & after booking changes are not possible.
- DiscoverMyTravel does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in Kerala houseboat is included) and personal expenses. During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern.
- Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
- Gala dinner on Christmas 24th,31st/New year eve will be at actual cost.
- On Arrival Day Breakfast is not included in the package.
- Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing,destinations due to political strike or roadblocks. Missing meal due to early checkout or late check-in
- Rooms at all Hill stations (Rooms at Munnar, Thekkady, Kodaikanal and Ooty,Coorg,Himachal uttrakhand,Kashmir) are Non A/C as mentioned. If you require A/C, you can pay extra directly at hotels and upgrade, but depends on availability. If Heater required in Hotels that will be on Direct Expanse .
- All Personal Activities & Entry tickets are not included in the package
- Hotel check-in time is typically at 2:00 PM, while check-out time is at 12:00 PM noon . May vary from hotels to hotels .Early check-in & late checkout as per hotel availability & might be on extra charges .
- The package price does not include – Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees, room heater charges, etc.
- In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangements for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard.
- Transportation will be provided as per the itinerary on point to point basis only and will not be at disposal. ( AC will not work on hills )
- Before confirmation of booking, Package rates are subject to change without prior notice, Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc.

Being one of the best tourist spots in Assam, at Kaziranga you may find plenty of options, including luxury resorts and budget hotels, most of which are located around the main entry point of Kohora. ANd, government accommodations are the most economical ones.
A jeep safari costs around Rs. 2000 per trip for a group of 4-5 people. However, an elephant safari costs slightly more.
On a tour to Kaziranga, you may enjoy elephant safari rides, go for a tea garden visit, and hop on a local village excursion.
The park opens at 1st of November and remains open till the end of March. The best time to visit Kaziranga is during December and January so as to witness the migratory birds along with other rare species.
You may enjoy a jeep safari from 7am to 10am and later, from 1:30pm till sunset. While, an elephant safari can be enjoyed from 5:30am to 7:30am and later, 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
