Itinerary
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, our local representative will warmly receive you and assist with your transfer to Cherrapunjee. En route, enjoy a scenic drive through the hills with a stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake (if time permits), known for its tranquil waters and panoramic surroundings. Continue your journey with visits to Maltilang Park and the picturesque Elephant Waterfall, offering refreshing natural beauty and scenic viewpoints. Upon arrival in Cherrapunjee, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee
Today is dedicated to adventure and nature. After an early breakfast, proceed to Tyrna Village, the starting point for the trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Descend over 3,500 stone steps through lush tropical forests and scenic landscapes before reaching this incredible natural wonder. Take time to admire the bridge and its serene surroundings before continuing onward with a guide to the enchanting Blue Lagoon Waterfall, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters. From there, trek further to the breathtaking Rainbow Falls, an untouched paradise where vibrant rainbows often appear in the mist of the cascading waters. Though the trek is moderately challenging, the experience is immensely rewarding. Return to Cherrapunji by evening for an overnight stay.
Note: A guide is compulsory for the Rainbow Falls trek and costs approximately ₹1500 per guide.
After breakfast, begin your journey from Cherrapunji with a refreshing stop at the hidden gem Wei Sawdong Falls, where tiered turquoise waters create a magical view. Continue to the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall, perfect for awe-inspiring photos. Wander through the lush pathways of Garden of Caves and explore the fascinating limestone formations at Arwah Caves. If time permits, soak in the panoramic beauty of Seven Sisters Falls before heading onward to the serene highlands of Mawphlang.
After breakfast in Mawphlang, begin your scenic drive toward Shillong, surrounded by rolling meadows and refreshing mountain air. En route, visit the enchanting Mawphlang Sacred Forest, a mystical grove known for its ancient trees, rich biodiversity, and cultural significance. Continue through the breathtaking landscapes of Markham Valley, where endless green stretches create postcard-perfect views. Pause at scenic hidden viewpoints along the way to admire the drifting clouds and tranquil hill vistas. Upon arrival, check in to Shillong, the charming “Scotland of the East,” and unwind after a day filled with nature and unforgettable scenery.
Leave Shillong in the deep pre-dawn hours, heading directly toward Nongjrong village via interior Khasi hill roads. Allow a 30–40 minute buffer for fog patches and slow-moving stretches. Reach Nongjrong Viewpoint just before sunrise. After sunrise,Explore the iconic Laitlum Canyons, often described as standing at the edge of the world. Begin the drive back toward Shillong and stop at a local dhaba or café for a warm meal. Simple Khasi dishes or comfort food are perfect after a long, early morning.
After having your breakfast at the hotel, board your transfers to Shnongpdeng/Dawki. Take your first stop over at Mawlynnong and get a chance to walk around Asia’s Cleanest Village. On the outskirts of the village, witness nature’s wonder in the form of a Balancing Rock, which remains unmoved through years, despite the storms and cyclones. Later, take up to visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village. Post this you will reach Dawki where the ultimate experience of boating in Crystal clear waters of the Umngot river awaits you (at your own cost). After enjoying your boat ride, head to your stay in Shnongpdeng/Dawki. Overnight at Shnongpdeng/Dawki.
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in the East Khasi Hills and enjoy your breakfast before beginning your scenic journey via Jowai. En route, visit the picturesque Tyrshi Waterfall, known for its serene surroundings and charming stepped cascades. Continue onward to witness one of India’s most magical natural wonders, Krang Suri Waterfalls. Upon arrival, spend time soaking in the beauty of the falls—take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear natural pool or simply relax by the water amidst tranquil surroundings. Policy
- For Holiday Packages: Once receiving your Advance Payment as per payment policy, we will issue the Confirmation Vouchers within 72 Working hours subject to confirmations received from Suppliers. Balance Amount Payable as per Payment Policy.
- For Cab & Driver Details: All Cab & Driver details will be shared with guests prior to one day before the departure date.
- Air Tickets: Air Tickets will be sent in the Mail immediately once Payment received as per payment policy.
For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions: Payment needs to be made in the comapny name ie DiscoverMyTravel You can do by using net-banking in our current accounts . Any Payment made in personal account of anyone cant be entertained .
Flight price & timings are subject to availability due to dynamic fluctuation. We don’t have any pre-booked Hotels, Flights, Or any other services, so all components are subject to availability at the time of booking.

- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.

Regular Cancelation Policy :
21 days or more before Departure Date 30% of package cost 70 % will be refundable
15 days or more before Departure Date 50% of package cost 50 % will be refundable
10 days or more before Departure Date 80% of package Cost 20% will be refundable
7 days or more before Departure Date 100% of package Cost
*Special Note: At any point of time after Booking, if cancelation made on Non- Refundable components like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services, then the respective amount will be completely non-refundable or will be followed as per Components (like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services) Individual Cancelation Policy.
Covid Special Cancelation Policy: If the tour is postponed before travel due to Pandemic Situations (i.e Covid-19), We will issue Credit Notes to guests which he/she may use for future travel for the same destinations .
- For Postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to inform us at 7 days prior to Departure Date. Any request made within 7 days no amendments possible and Cancelation charges occur as per cancelation policy .
- The package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability & Cancelations of respective Components Booked)
- We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.
- We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.
- No Changes/ modifications are allowed during the trip except extreme conditions, which will be also done as per the cancelation policy of respective Components Booked.
- Refunds if any, for variation/modification/amendments/alteration and/or cancellations, etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by ‘A/C payee cheque only’, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per Reserve Bank of India Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency.
- Refund payments will be processed within 15 working days of the cancellation date and the amount is payable as per cancellation policy.
- No refund will be Applicable -For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to any reason.
- No cash refund will be Applicable – If the tour is indefinitely postponed / Stopped during travel due to a natural calamity, riots, political disturbances, or any other unforeseen calamities. We will issue Credit Notes to guest which he/she may use in future travel however subject to cancelation/Refund policy of Respective components booked.
- In case of any Visa denial or any delay in the Visa process, we shall not be responsible for any loss due to the same and no refund will be applicable. Visa approval and process duration is as per consulate/embassy discretion only.
As per Package Policy
- It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification upon Check In.
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.
- For optional services and facilities (such as room service, mini-bar, snacks, laundry and telephone calls, etc). These will be charged while check-out, directly by the hotel.
- This is a system generated voucher and does not require Signature/Stamp.
- Service Fee of INR 250 will be applicable for any change in Hotel Check-In dates. Any rate difference found will be charged separately.
- Heater Charges will be additional as per Hotel

- DiscoverMyTravel does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in Kerala houseboat is included) and personal expenses. During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern.
- Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest as per the hotel policy.
- Gala dinner on Christmas 24th,31st/New year eve will be at actual cost.
- On Arrival Day Breakfast is not included in the package.
- Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing,destinations due to political strike or roadblocks. Missing meal due to early checkout or late check-in
- Rooms at all Hill stations (Rooms at Munnar, Thekkady, Kodaikanal and Ooty,Coorg,Himachal uttrakhand,Kashmir) are Non A/C as mentioned. If you require A/C, you can pay extra directly at hotels and upgrade, but depends on availability. If Heater required in Hotels that will be on Direct Expanse .
- All Personal Activities & Entry tickets are not included in the package
- Hotel check-in time is typically at 2:00 PM, while check-out time is at 12:00 PM noon . May vary from hotels to hotels .Early check-in & late checkout as per hotel availability & might be on extra charges .
- The package price does not include – Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees, room heater charges, etc.
- In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangements for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard.
- Transportation will be provided as per the itinerary on point to point basis only and will not be at disposal. ( AC will not work on hills )
