Itinerary
you will be welcomed by our representative at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Pakyong Airport. Our representative will assist you on a road journey to Gangtok. On the journey to Gangtok, the picturesque landscapes and lush greenery will leave you awe-struck. Gangtok is one of the best tourist destinations in northeast India for nature and peace lovers.
On arrival in Gangtok, check into a hotel. Explore the local area in the evening by own enjoy the delicious dinner at the hotel, followed by the overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12400 feet) and New Baba Mandir, both of which are only 32 kilometres from Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake is regarded as sacred by the locals. It is about 1 km long, oval in shape, and 15 metres deep. You can spend peaceful moments here.
New Baba Mandir is a distinguished sightseeing place of Gangtok. It is located on the Indo-China border, and honours "Baba" Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian Army soldier.
You can also go to Nathula Pass (closed Monday & Tuesday), which is located on the India-China border. However, you have to inform us in advance, as a permit needs to be obtained. There is an additional cost of Rs. 3000/ per vehicle.
Return to your hotel in Gangtok. Spend the night in your comfortable room because you'll be visiting more amazing sights the next day.
The day 3 of the Gangtok tour is divided into the 2 parts: In the first half of the day, you will explore the major tourist attractions of Gangtok, namely:
1. Ropeway
2. Do-Drul Chorten
3. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology
4. Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed)
5. Flower Show (Orchid)
In the later part of the day, you will return to the hotel. You will have an assisted transfer to Bagdogra/ Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Station/Siliguri.
This marks the end of your amazing trip to Gangtok.
After breakfast transfer to Darjeling hotel on arrival check in to the hotel and spend the evening on leisure and overnight stay at hotel
After breakfast proceed to visit Tiger Hills, (subject to availability of token) Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial – Back to hotel for breakfast and next - Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden - lunch at hotel or on the way - Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park bare sightseeing spot and can be visited as per the days program – Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors – it is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest – Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling
After breakfast check out and proceed to drop at Njp / bagdogra for onward journey to home.

- For Holiday Packages: Once receiving your Advance Payment as per payment policy, we will issue the Confirmation Vouchers within 72 Working hours subject to confirmations received from Suppliers. Balance Amount Payable as per Payment Policy.
- For Cab & Driver Details: All Cab & Driver details will be shared with guests prior to one day before the departure date.
- Air Tickets: Air Tickets will be sent in the Mail immediately once Payment received as per payment policy.
For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions: Payment needs to be made in the comapny name ie DiscoverMyTravel You can do by using net-banking in our current accounts . Any Payment made in personal account of anyone cant be entertained .
Flight price & timings are subject to availability due to dynamic fluctuation. We don’t have any pre-booked Hotels, Flights, Or any other services, so all components are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- 30% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to departure.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 80% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, Travel Insurance, Visa charges, etc.
Regular Cancelation Policy :

*Special Note: At any point of time after Booking, if cancelation made on Non- Refundable components like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services, then the respective amount will be completely non-refundable or will be followed as per Components (like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services) Individual Cancelation Policy.
Covid Special Cancelation Policy: If the tour is postponed before travel due to Pandemic Situations (i.e Covid-19), We will issue Credit Notes to guests which he/she may use for future travel for the same destinations .
- For Postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to inform us at 7 days prior to Departure Date. Any request made within 7 days no amendments possible and Cancelation charges occur as per cancelation policy .
- The package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability & Cancelations of respective Components Booked)
- We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.
- We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.
- No Changes/ modifications are allowed during the trip except extreme conditions, which will be also done as per the cancelation policy of respective Components Booked.
- Refunds if any, for variation/modification/amendments/alteration and/or cancellations, etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by ‘A/C payee cheque only’, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per Reserve Bank of India Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency.
- Refund payments will be processed within 15 working days of the cancellation date and the amount is payable as per cancellation policy.
- No refund will be Applicable -For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to any reason.
- No cash refund will be Applicable – If the tour is indefinitely postponed / Stopped during travel due to a natural calamity, riots, political disturbances, or any other unforeseen calamities. We will issue Credit Notes to guest which he/she may use in future travel however subject to cancelation/Refund policy of Respective components booked.
- In case of any Visa denial or any delay in the Visa process, we shall not be responsible for any loss due to the same and no refund will be applicable. Visa approval and process duration is as per consulate/embassy discretion only.
