Cochin is renowned for its delicious seafood dishes like fish curry, appam (rice pancakes), and traditional Kerala meals served on a banana leaf. Don't miss trying the local specialties like Karimeen Pollichathu (pearl spot fish) and Kerala-style prawn curry.
The backwaters around Cochin are best explored through houseboat cruises that take you through the scenic network of lakes, canals, and lagoons. These cruises offer a tranquil experience amidst lush greenery and serene waters.
