Itinerary
Met upon arrival our driver will pick you by 10 pm from Delhi and proceed to Bir Billing for overnight journey.
On arrival at Bir billing visit Deer park institure, Chokling monastary,, Baijnath temple and later proceed to bir billing site ( where you can do paragliding by own end) and later come back to Dharamshala and on arrival check in to the hotel if time permit viist Dalai lama temple, Bhagsu temple and meclodganj and overnight stay
After breakfast check out and proceed to Triund trek by own end and on arrival check in to the camp and overnight stay .
After breakfast check out and proceed toward Delhi for onward journey to home. ( kindly note driver will only drop by overnight journey)

Policy
- For Holiday Packages: Once receiving your Advance Payment as per payment policy, we will issue the Confirmation Vouchers within 72 Working hours subject to confirmations received from Suppliers. Balance Amount Payable as per Payment Policy.
- For Cab & Driver Details: All Cab & Driver details will be shared with guests prior to one day before the departure date.
- Air Tickets: Air Tickets will be sent in the Mail immediately once Payment received as per payment policy.
For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions: Payment needs to be made in the comapny name ie DiscoverMyTravel You can do by using net-banking in our current accounts . Any Payment made in personal account of anyone cant be entertained .
Flight price & timings are subject to availability due to dynamic fluctuation. We don’t have any pre-booked Hotels, Flights, Or any other services, so all components are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- 30% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to departure.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 80% of the package cost or INR 10,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 20% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is less, guests may pay on arrival at the respective destination in cash only. However, if he or she wants to pay us (Company) directly, then the same can be done 7 days prior to the departure date.
- FUll ull amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, etc.
- 50% of the package cost or INR 20,000 whichever is higher payable for booking confirmation.
- 50% of the package cost is payable 15 days prior to the departure date. If guests want to pay the rest balance in cash at the respective destination, he/ she may pay the same in cash at the respective destination’s local currency only equivalent to Indian Currency on arrival itself to our representative. Kindly note that guests have to bear the extra amount for currency exchange on their own for local currency if opt for on arrival payment.
- The full amount is payable at the time of booking confirmation for those components where 100% advance payment required for confirmation like some hotels, Flight Tickets, Bus Tickets, Train Tickets, Travel Insurance, Visa charges, etc.
Regular Cancelation Policy :
21 days or more before Departure Date 30% of package cost 70 % will be refundable
15 days or more before Departure Date 50% of package cost 50 % will be refundable
10 days or more before Departure Date 80% of package Cost 20% will be refundable
7 days or more before Departure Date 100% of package Cost
*Special Note: At any point of time after Booking, if cancelation made on Non- Refundable components like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services, then the respective amount will be completely non-refundable or will be followed as per Components (like airfare, Hotel Bookings, transportations, or any other services) Individual Cancelation Policy.
Covid Special Cancelation Policy: If the tour is postponed before travel due to Pandemic Situations (i.e Covid-19), We will issue Credit Notes to guests which he/she may use for future travel for the same destinations .
- For Postpone/Prepone of tour packages are to be communicated in written and need to inform us at 7 days prior to Departure Date. Any request made within 7 days no amendments possible and Cancelation charges occur as per cancelation policy .
- The package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability & Cancelations of respective Components Booked)
- We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.
- We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.
- No Changes/ modifications are allowed during the trip except extreme conditions, which will be also done as per the cancelation policy of respective Components Booked.
- Refunds if any, for variation/modification/amendments/alteration and/or cancellations, etc. of any tour will be paid directly to the guest by ‘A/C payee cheque only’, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the cheque, as per Reserve Bank of India Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments in part or whole were made in foreign currency.
- Refund payments will be processed within 15 working days of the cancellation date and the amount is payable as per cancellation policy.
- No refund will be Applicable -For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to any reason.
- No cash refund will be Applicable – If the tour is indefinitely postponed / Stopped during travel due to a natural calamity, riots, political disturbances, or any other unforeseen calamities. We will issue Credit Notes to guest which he/she may use in future travel however subject to cancelation/Refund policy of Respective components booked.
- In case of any Visa denial or any delay in the Visa process, we shall not be responsible for any loss due to the same and no refund will be applicable. Visa approval and process duration is as per consulate/embassy discretion only.

One can visit Dharamshala throughout the year. However the best time to visit is considered in the summers i.e. from mid march to June or till mid july. You can also visit Dharamshala in winters, which starts from October and lasts till February. You can even experience snowfall in the peak winters i.e. during December till February. The time from July to September is not considered a good time due to high rainfall during these times.

Dharamshala is one of the best places to visit in Himachal Pradesh and planning a trip with your family to this spot would be a great idea if you want to explore hills. A 6-day trip to this place would be enough to explore different spots of Dharamshala. On the first day of your trip, you can start your journey from Delhi and on the way to McLeodganj explore Kangra Fort. The second day can be occupied with exploring local sightseeing in McLeodganj. On the third day of your tour, discover a few waterfalls and then you can visit Bhagsu Nag Temple. If you are an adventure-loving person, you can indulge yourself in trekking and trek down to McLeodganj from Triund. Day 5 can be optional for you but if you want to discover some nearby attractions you can do it. On the 6th day of your tour, check out from the hotel you are staying in McLeodganj, bid goodbye to the place and start your journey to Delhi.

Yes, trekking in Dharamshala is safe as all precautions of safeguarding the trekkers are effectively enforced. However, a certain measure must also be taken by tourists who wish to indulge in trekking like wearing comfortable shoes, carrying water, and carrying light baggage.
The trek to Triund is considered to be of moderate difficulty, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced trekkers. The well-marked trail takes approximately 4-6 hours to complete, covering a distance of around 9 kilometers.
While there are basic camping facilities at Triund, it's advisable to check for accommodation availability if you plan to stay in guesthouses or cafes. During peak seasons, such as spring and fall, accommodation can fill up quickly. It's recommended to either book in advance or arrive early to secure a place.
The best time to visit Triund is during spring (March to June) and fall (September to November). During these periods, the weather is generally pleasant, with mild temperatures and clear skies, providing the best conditions for trekking and enjoying the scenic views.
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there were no specific permits required for the Triund trek. However, it's essential to check for any updated regulations or permits that may have been implemented since then. Local authorities or tour operators can provide the latest information.
